The coffee café is no different from a real-life theatre stage. The first step inside is when the curtain opens. Among the main characters are you and your fellow coffee sippers, the barista, his  misbehaving pet and the soccer kids playing outside. They interact, you observe. And if nothing happens, your own mind starts telling stories as you finally have the time to sit still and do nothing but notice. Maybe that’s what I love about coffee cafés. You get to just be there - free, by yourself, but also among the people. Together you take a break from modern life in a borrowed living room.

   I could go on forever and that’s exactly the purpose of this platform: every week you find a new short-to-read post in the coffeed below. A real story, about a real cafe I visited once - mainly in European capitals.
