WELCOME

Hey you! A very warm welcome to this atmospheric little digital island. My name is Rosy, I am a proud Dutchy and have an oddly long neck of 22 cm (8,5 inches). This brought me great sights, cold winters and quirky fetish-followers on the gram. Bottom line is that I look like a human giraffe and that I am totally psyched about coffee and coffee cafés in specific; it’s the atmosphere, the candle, barista and sight of random people together that I adore - the Danes call is ‘Hygge’, the Dutch call it ‘Gezellig’.

The concept is easy: every Monday I add one authentic café experience to the Coffeed. It’s a short read; around 2 minutes, because I understand we all have busy lives. I give away my hidden gems for you to add to your map and I (Gi)rate them too. But the main goal of this little digital island is to spread the happy feelings I get in coffee cafés with my writing and illustrations. So even if you don’t care about coffee, this platform is for you too.

An American friend once said, “the google maps expert strikes again”. My map is loaded with ‘café-to-visit’ symbols and make me look like a complete lunatic. And that’s what I am - a sucker for the authentic vibe in all those public living rooms around the world that serve coffee and warmth.
